Matrix Samples
Upon customer request ASM can produce High purity and precisely alloyed metallic matrix samples for material research with customer's stated content of particular impurity within a range of 0.5 to 50 ppm:
ASM R&D developed unique technology of rapid (0.3-0.5sec) ingot solidification in magnetic field during its levitation, which give us the possibility to control impurity removal process and stop it at any moment. This high vacuum levitation technique in the special shaped coil could guarantee the ''freezing'' of current impurity content in the ingot with zero contamination during melting and solidification.
