Terms and Conditions

Material Specification: All purchase orders are to be placed in writing. Purchase orders and requests for quotation should state material, purity grade, product form, geometry, quantity, and dimensional tolerances. Additional composition specifications should be noted.(e.g. limitation of interstitial impurities, Zirconium content in Hafnium, Tantalum in Rare Earth Metals etc.)
Alloys, intermetallics and compounds must be characterized by chemical composition and composition tolerances. Unless otherwise qualified, ASM R&D standard tolerances will be applied to all specifications.

Warranty: In a case of standard and custom order ASM R&D warrants that its materials are processed in order to meet the customer's specification. Our warranty is limited to the P.O. price paid for our product;

Confidentiality: ASM R&D normally enters into non-disclosure agreement to protect information about customer's orders if such a necessity will arise.

Prices: Our price quotes, except in the case of precious metals are valid within 30 days after the date of the quote.

Minimum order: Unless otherwise stated in our quotation, the minimum order is $200.00

Cancellation: Purchase orders canceled before shipment are subject to our cancellation charges.
Charges for standard material P.O. cancellation are the higher of 10% of the selling price or $50.00 per lot. No cancellation charges applicable for established accounts. Custom and exotic materials are subject to a cancellation charge of 50% and 75% of the selling price respectively.

Terms: Net 10 days for precious metals. Net 30 days for established accounts. C.O.D. or C.I.A. for others. Business references should be submitted to establish credit.

Shipment: Depending on customer locaion shipments are either ex-works New York NY , USA or Chomutov, Czech republic
